Google has created a mobile web site that allows users of the iPhone and HTC G1 to search for and read 1.5 million public domain books. The books can be read directly from the phones’ browsers. Many of the classics, such as those written by Mark Twain, Charles Dickens and many others, are included. Users simply go to the Google Books web site and search. The books are free.
